Each basket comes with standard heavy duty steel green or black wire hanger. Galvanized chain hanger available upon request at no extra cost.
The sphagnum moss layer is over 1.5" thick and gently compressed which slowly decompresses from the inside after filled with soil and watered. The moss layer will not come apart unlike other moss liners.
Several years ago we have added poly water retainer, built inside.
Our sphagnum moss basket can be ordered with the poly water retainer or without.
Our sphagnum moss baskets can be reused over several growing seasons.
This moss planter don't have to be wet before planting. For better result and fuller finish basket don't hesitate to also plant on the sides. For that punch 1" to 1.5" holes in the moss, insert the plants root ball and squeeze back the moss to secure the plant in place. Water well and watch it grow.
